Here I sit alone Even though it’s Christmastime Waiting for the first snow Just can’t get you out of my mind But you’re not coming home That much I know So here I sit alone tonight The lights are strung up bright But the mood’s not feeling right Just a few more things to do Someone get me out of this line And they’re playing our favorite tune In this crowded room I just want to dance with you tonight They say it’s always lonely (and they’ve said it all) But they don’t even know me (and they said it all) They say it’s always lonely (and they said it all) If only I could be with you tonight (are you coming home) We don’t know (Don’t say it’s only) Where to go (a dream) We never know which way to turn (Don’t say it’s only) Now that I’ve found you (A dream) I’m going to hold on to (Tonight) Now that I’ve found you (a dream) I’ll never forget to hold onto your heart (tonight)

about

We’re excited to share our first holiday song! Inspired by a patch on a vintage synth we dusted off and written in anticipation of the bittersweet feelings the holidays bring (especially this year), this one comes straight from the heart.

We hope this song brings a little joy as we all cozy up a bit differently this year.

All proceeds through the end of the year will go to benefit the University District and West Seattle food banks to help combat food insecurity in our community.

Wishing you peace, health and happiness.
(And dancing with you from afar).
We love you.

Big Takeover review:
"Geoffrey Cox’s effects-treated guitars are up to their usual pleasing tricks, but it’s singer/bassist Kim House’s Santa sack of keyboards that dance and play like visions of sugarplums here, with hits of pre-shoegaze 4AD/This Mortal Coil ambiance – even as a lyrical lament turns from missing someone during December to holding them in your heart like an unwrapped gift." – Jack Rabid

Fotoform Seattle, Washington

"One of our greatest Anglo-esque bands. Wow.” -- The Big Takeover. KEXP says:
"This Seattle band’s second album is a well-crafted blend of post-punk and dream-pop with atmospheric guitars and synths, driving rhythms, ethereal vocals, hypnotic song hooks and lyrics of grief, love and loss." ... more
